Reindeer Food Recipe

Reindeer Food Recipe

We all know about the beloved tradition of leaving out a little snack of cookies and milk for Santa on Christmas Eve, but what about his hard-working reindeers?! Dasher and Dancer would love a little fuel on their night-long journey delivering presents to every boy and girl. This 3-step recipe makes for a yummy holiday snack for holiday parties and a fun way to start a new tradition with your children.
A Christmas Tradition: Letter to Santa
Another Christmas tradition that seguridadindustrialcr team loves is writing a letter to Santa! The excitement and pure joy the these letters created will always be something we hold dear to our hearts. This year, you can add some magic to this tradition with our Dear Santa Door Pillow. Your children will be rest assured that their letters to Santa will be safe and sound in the pocket of the pillow for the Jolly Old Man to read. They might even get a letter back from Santa in their pillow!
The Gluten Free Alternative
Here’s the best part of this recipe. Because the main ingredient is Rice Chex cereal, you can simply replace the pretzels with gluten free pretzels to make this a gluten free recipe. Finally, a holiday treat for kids with gluten allergies.

Ingredients
1 (20 ounce) package of miniature pretzels (use gluten free pretzels to make this a gluten free recipe)

1 (17.5 ounce) package of Rice Chex Cereal

1 (16 ounce) jar of salted dry-roasted peanuts

1 (14 ounce) package of red and green M&M’s

24 ounces of white chocolate, chopped

Directions
Step 1:
Cover a large area of counter space with waxed paper and tape it down.

Step 2:
Mix pretzels, Rice Chex, peanuts, and M&M’s together in a large bowl.

Step 3:
Melt white chocolate in the top of a double boiler over simmering water, stirring frequently and scraping down the sides with a rubber spatula to avoid scorching. Pour melted white chocolate over Rice Chex mixture and stir to evenly coat. Quickly transfer mixture to the prepared waxed paper and spread in a thin layer. Let cool completely. Break into pieces and store in an airtight container. Enjoy!
